Mustard Seed Kingdom & Mustard Seed Weapons

Jul 26, 2026

What comes to mind when you hear the phrase 'kingdom of God'? Pearly gates? A grand celestial throne room? Something vast and cosmic, raining down from above? This sermon invites us on a journey through language, imagination, and scripture to rediscover what Jesus actually meant when he described the kingdom of God. The central revelation is both humbling and electrifying: the kingdom of God does not operate through force, conquest, or grand displays of power. Instead, it moves through the world the way a mustard seed does: small, unassuming, and almost laughably modest, yet capable of growing into something that shelters and sustains countless lives. For those of us who sometimes feel like our faith, our efforts, or our resources are too small to matter, this message is a direct and powerful response. We always have a mustard seed and that is enough.
